How Ezeditor AI handles your photos, reference materials, AI edits, account information, and personal data
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Ezeditor AI ("we," "us," or "our") provides online AI photo editing, image generation, and related creative tools. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit ezeditor.net, create an account, add reference materials, request edits or generation, transfer files from your phone, or purchase services. You can use some features without an account; this policy also applies to those visits and transfers.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we process:
- Account information: Your name or display name, email address, profile image, necessary authentication information, and account settings. Google sign-in provides the basic details you authorize Google to share. Passwords used for password-based sign-in are stored as hashes.
- Content and generation information: Photos, reference images, prompts, processing settings, and edited or generated results, together with any video, audio, or links provided through supported tools. Related information includes file names, types, sizes, durations, task statuses, and timestamps.
- Credits and transaction information: Credit balances and usage, subscriptions and purchases, payment status, order identifiers, and related refund records. We do not collect or store complete payment card numbers or security codes.
- Technical information: IP addresses, browser information, session information, and logs used for security, troubleshooting, and service operation.
- Contact information: Names, email addresses, and messages you provide through contact forms, email, or other support channels.
- Website usage information: Visits, traffic sources, and page interactions when relevant analytics tools are enabled.
Only provide content you are entitled to upload or use. If content includes another person's image, voice, or other personal information, ensure you have the necessary authorization or other lawful basis. Avoid uploading sensitive or confidential information unnecessary for processing.
2. Uploading and Processing Content
Local files and previews
Selecting a local file in the homepage editor creates a preview in your browser. It does not by itself upload that file to an AI provider or submit an editing or generation request. Other tools may upload inputs when you select or confirm them; uploading and submitting a processing request are separate steps.
Upload from phone
When you open Upload from phone and scan the QR code, we create a temporary transfer session. Neither device needs to sign in. The file selected on your phone passes through private server storage so that the computer can receive it. We process the file name, type, size, transfer status, authorization information, and timestamps. We store a hashed network address to limit abuse; signed-in transfers may also be associated with your account.
A transfer link waits for an upload for 10 minutes. Starting an upload opens a 30-minute transfer window. After the computer acknowledges receipt, the temporary server file is deleted. Cancellation also removes the temporary file; expired transfers are removed by scheduled cleanup, which may be delayed by retries or scheduling. A separate copy may remain in the computer's browser preview until removed or the page closes. Sharing a QR code or transfer link may allow someone else to upload a file into that transfer.
Transferring a file does not submit it for AI processing or spend credits.
AI processing and supported imports
When you submit an available editing or generation request, we provide the relevant AI service with the required materials or temporary access links, prompt, and processing settings. Account login credentials are not needed for that request. If a supported tool imports content from a link, we retrieve the content you identify for that tool. A feature preview or unavailable tool does not submit an AI request.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, verify, and manage accounts;
- Receive and transfer reference materials, process edits and generation requests, display history, and provide downloads where available;
- Manage credits, subscriptions, purchases, refunds, and billing checks;
- Send verification, password reset, and other necessary service emails;
- Respond to inquiries and personal information requests;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
- Meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legal rights.
Without information necessary for a feature, we may be unable to provide that feature.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, account, generation, and purchase services generally rely on performance of our contract with you. Security and troubleshooting generally rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable service. Legally required recordkeeping relies on legal obligations. Optional processing requiring consent relies on your consent.
4. Service Providers and Disclosures
We use the following services:
- Cloudflare: Website hosting, databases, file storage, caching, and technical infrastructure.
- AI processing services: Receive the materials and settings needed for the editing or generation request you submit and return results.
- Payment providers and their partners: The provider shown at checkout processes payments and provides order, subscription, and payment status.
- Google: Provides authentication when you choose Google sign-in.
- Resend: Sends verification, password reset, contact form, and related emails.
If Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity is enabled on the website, we use these tools to understand visits and interactions. Clarity may capture page interactions through features such as session recordings. See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies and similar technologies.
We may also disclose necessary information in response to valid legal requirements, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer.
5. Retention and Deletion
Uploaded inputs
Inputs uploaded to our storage for AI processing become inaccessible 24 hours after upload completion. This period does not apply to local browser previews or the temporary phone-transfer files described in Section 2. Background tasks subsequently remove expired files and associated asset records. Cleanup failures, retries, or scheduling delays may postpone physical deletion beyond access expiry.
Generated results and task records
Generated results currently have no uniform automatic expiry period. They are stored to support history, previews, and downloads.
You can delete completed or failed tasks from your history. This removes the corresponding task record and any result file in our storage that is no longer used by another record. Tasks still being processed cannot currently be deleted through this feature.
Deleting a result does not also delete unexpired input content or automatically remove associated credit, transaction, or other separate records.
Accounts and other records
Account information supports your account and related services. Retention of transaction, support, and security records depends on service needs, billing checks, dispute resolution, security purposes, and applicable legal requirements.
You can request account deletion in account settings or contact us with a deletion request. Account closure does not mean that every stored file, log, or third-party copy is physically deleted at the same moment. Identify relevant tasks if you want particular content or results deleted.
Provider copies
The input retention period above applies to our storage. Providers may separately retain request records, inputs, or outputs under their policies, contracts, and applicable law. Deleting a task or closing your account does not automatically send deletion instructions to every provider.
6. File Access and Security
We use measures including HTTPS, password hashing, and account authorization checks. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Generated results archived in our storage require account authorization. Temporary input links used by the AI processing service, and provider links that may be used before results are archived, use different access mechanisms. Do not publicly share these links; someone holding a valid link may be able to access the associated content.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, language, and interface preferences. Analytics tools and third-party features may also use relevant technologies when enabled.
You can restrict or clear this information through your browser, although doing so may sign you out or reset preferences. Clearing browser data does not delete your account or server-side records.
Phone transfers also use temporary authorization cookies and browser session storage, as explained in our Cookie Policy.
For optional technologies requiring consent under applicable law, we will provide relevant information and choices. See our Cookie Policy.
8. International Processing
Our infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your country or region of residence.
Applicable law may require particular international transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about relevant processing locations, applicable arrangements, and safeguards.
9. Your Rights
Email support@ezeditor.net to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of personal information.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaints to a privacy regulator. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Where possible, use your account email and include the relevant task identifier or processing date. We may verify your identity. Do not send passwords or complete payment card details.
We respond within legally required periods and explain any lawful retention, necessary extension, or reason we cannot fulfill a request.
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without legally required parental or guardian authorization.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without necessary authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this policy as features, providers, or applicable requirements change, and revise the date shown above.
Material changes will be announced on the website or by email as required by applicable law. Processing requiring new consent will be subject to separate consent.
